$79.00 per passenger

Visit an actual working mine east of Reno in Rochester, NV, named for immigrant prospectors who traveled from Rochester, NY to seek their fortunes in the 1860s. As with other mining towns, Rochester experienced highs and lows, and the mine was eventually closed in 1942. Now considered one of the great silver mines of the world, the site has produced more than 125 million ounces since beginning large scale open pit mining in 1986. You’ll be able to witness how the silver and gold is processed, and we may even be able to see a large surface blast, based on the scheduling of mine operations. Tour includes a boxed lunch.
