Our day begins with a short ride to Donner State Park, located in Truckee. The brand-new visitors center located in a state of the art facility showcases the history and stores of the of the Emigrant Experience, the Land of the Washoe, Chinese construction of the railroad and early motoring adventures over Donner Pass.  We will have an opportunity to see a film depicting the history of the area.  Next, we’re off to lunch in Truckee, for a lovely hosted lunch in our private dining area in the historic Truckee Hotel.  In the afternoon, we travel to Lake Tahoe’s Sand Harbor for an exciting sleigh ride through the pine trees and around the park.  Experience an old-fashioned sleigh ride in one of several antique European Sleighs drawn by large Belgian horses. Your Sleigh Ride adventure will take you over the meadow through the woods overlooking one of Lake Tahoe's most spectacular views.
