Pack your bags and join us as we head west to explore the historic town of Folsom, CA! Folsom boasts a rich history beginning with the California Gold Rush. Learn about this engaging town as we visit the historic district – filled with fun shops, boutiques and museums. Plenty of time will be allotted to wander and enjoy lunch on your own. Next, we check into the Lake Natoma Inn, a full-service hotel sitting on the banks of Lake Natoma. Following check in, we’ll rest and freshen up before a hosted dinner and performance of Under the Streetlamp. Enjoy America's hottest new vocal group, and electrifying classic hits from the American Radio Songbook, as they bring their unique blend of harmonies and dance moves to your favorite Doo-Wop, Motown and popular Rock 'n' Roll hits.
Enjoy a hosted breakfast before departing our hotel for a morning of shopping at the Folsom Premium Outlets, home to such stellar shops as Aeropostale, Calvin Klein, Chico's, Coach, Kenneth Cole, Saks Fifth Avenue, Samsonite, Tommy Hilfiger, Volcom, Zales Outlet and more. Following lunch on your own we will visit the historic Folsom Powerhouse, built in 1885, which was the west coast’s first electricity generating plant. Learn about its history and operations, and see the original generators that delivered electricity to the Sacramento region. Following our tour, we will head back home in our comfortable coach, as we reflect on the wonderful time we had during the past two days!
