A Very Berry Festival - formerly Roseville Stawberry Festival - Saturday, May 7, 2016
$69 per passenger
If you love sweet, succulent berries, this is an event you won’t want to miss! A Roseville tradition since 1990, the Placer County Strawberry Festival – Berryfest -- celebrates all the wonders of this juicy red fruit, along with its berry counterparts. Explore a variety of fun events such as free contests, a classic car show, live entertainment, craft booths and much more. They’ll be lots of amusing activities to keep you entertained from catapulting a strawberry, wolfing down a specialty dessert (time to beat is 6 seconds), putting a strawberry for a hole in one, to just wearing a silly strawberry hat. Enjoy lunch on your own from one of the vendors, then be sure to check out the tempting dessert items throughout the festival. Before heading back to Reno, we’ll visit a local farmer to get a first-hand look at the berry-growing process. We might even be able to pick a few to take home with us. All ages are welcome to this fun event.
